In your small group of no more than 10 guests, this tour will offer a very intimate and personal look into authentic food in the city with up to 6 different stops. More than just a food tour, your experience will be added to with a beautiful walking tour through Gastown, the oldest and original settlement of Vancouver. Here you will hear the tales of what made Gastown what it is today as you are immersed in the must-eats of the city.

Named the 4th most stylish neighborhood in the world and located on Vancouver's beautiful waterfront, Gastown will make you feel as if you are stepping into another continent entirely. Due to its historic European style buildings and cobblestone streets, the area is also home to endless entertainment and cultural attractions. These include a variety of trendy shops, bars and most importantly, restaurants plus the popular steam clock.

Walk to the best restaurants that only the locals know, where you can taste the best dishes unique to the city. But that's not all, your guide is passionate about sharing the stories of what made this area into the national historic site of Canada that it is today, so learn more about Vancouver and Canadian culture from a local expert as you are introduced to this scenic city.

This tour takes you down the main strip of Gastown all while feeling as if you are walking through a small town in Europe. Your native Vancouver guide will give you the history about the North Shore of Vancouver where you will see the beautiful waterfront and the mountains as you enjoy the fresh air. Specifically designed to hit your taste buds in all the right places, make your way through the town from stop to stop to try many dishes that locals have come to love. Restaurants that you will find in no other city are making mouth-watering dishes made with fresh and local ingredients and provide top notch service.

You will have the pleasure of trying Vancouver's most beloved food, sushi! With the claim to be the "most Asian city in North America" and with its proximity to the sea, you have two guarantees of fresh and authentic sushi that can't be beat. Your tour will include a stop at a local sushi restaurant where you will learn about the sushi culture here and be able to taste fresh, local sushi. If you're feeling brave, try the sake!

You will then be introduced to one of Canada's most famous dishes with a twist that makes it even tastier, poutine. Your upgraded version of the regular tour will allow you to wash these foods down with a local craft beer or cider. Vancouver is also home to a renowned Craft beer and cider scene, and we will show you some of the top local breweries. Enjoy two unique, local craft beer or cider options as well as a delicious cocktail named The Caesar (a must-have Canadian favorite).

Your journey will next stop at a restaurant that serves groundbreaking vegetable-based dishes which are so tasty you might just want to eat only vegetables from now on. Continue to enter the most beautiful square in the city where you can learn more about the founder of Gastown and have the opportunity for taking some amazing pictures. Learn also about the tasty maple syrup that is harvested here and its importance in Canada.
